Roasted Acorn Squash

2012 12 04 Roasted acorn squash


  • Acorn squash
  • Butter
  • Maple syrup
  • Unsweetened apple sauce
  • Pumpkin pie spice
  • Garlic powder
  • Basil
  • Honey



  • Preheat oven to 400
  • Place the cut squash onto foil-lined baking sheet and pour some water in the bottom of the pan
  • Melt the butter and combine with maple syrup, apple sauce and spices. Fill each squash with the mixture.
  • Drizzle honey over top of each piece
  • Roast in oven for 45 minutes. Garnish with basil and enjoy!
