- Acorn squash
- Maple syrup
- Unsweetened apple sauce
- Pumpkin pie spice
- Garlic powder
- Preheat oven to 400
- Place the cut squash onto foil-lined baking sheet and pour some water in the bottom of the pan
- Melt the butter and combine with maple syrup, apple sauce and spices. Fill each squash with the mixture.
- Drizzle honey over top of each piece
- Roast in oven for 45 minutes. Garnish with basil and enjoy!
