Winter Stirfry




  • Sausage (I used spicy Italian)
  • Onions
  • Turnip or rutabaga
  • Celery
  • Shredded cabbage
  • Water chestnuts
  • Chicken stock
  • Green onions
  • Avocado oil
  • Garlic
  • Salt and pepper
  • Parsley
  • Soy sauce


  • Boil sausages then slice and brown
  •  In oil, fry onions, turnip and carrots until golden
  • Add celery, cabbage, water chestnuts and garlic and stirfry for 1 minute
  • Add stock and soy sauce and cover and steam for 5 minutes under vegetables are tender crisp
  • Add sausage and season with salt, pepper and parsley.
