Thrice-cooked Slow-cooker Ribs with a Blueberry BBQ Sauce and Spicy Avocado Black Bean Salad


Rib Ingredients

Pork ribs

BBQ sauce


Liquid Smoke

Cajun spice rub

Rib Directions

Preheat oven to 400

Place the whole rib rack on a baking sheet and generously pat on the cajun spice rub and cook for 30 minutes.

Slice the ribs into 3-4 rib portions and place in slow cooker on low.

Top with bbq sauce, blueberries and liquid smoke.

Cook for 6-8 hours.

Once ribs are complete, place on baking sheet and broil for ten minutes or until desired crispiness.

Black Bean salad ingredients:

Canned black beans


Red onions


Red peppers

Avocado oil

Fresh lemon juice

Salt & pepper
