Lamb chops with Garlic Brown-butter Sauce

2014 01 05 Seared rack of lamb with a brown-butter garlic sauce accompanied by sautéed green beans with toasted almonds and onions


  • 2 garlic cloves
  • Lamb chops
  • Salt and pepper
  • Olive oil
  • Thyme
  • Fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup chicken stock
  • 1 tablespoon butter


Season the lamb with salt and pepper and chop the garlic. Place on skillet and sear for approximately 3 minutes on each side. Take lamb off of the skillet and place on a  serving plate. Deglaze the pan with garlic, thyme and lemon juice. Whisk in butter and pour over lamb prior to serving.
