Flank Steak Roulades

2012 11 27 Flank steak roulades



  • Flank steak
  • Salt and pepper
  • Diced slices of bacon
  • Medium diced red pepper
  • Vidalia onion
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Garlic clove
  • 2 tablespoons coconut oil




  • Preheat oven to 400
  • Butterfly the flank steak and season with salt and pepper
  • Dice the bacon and cook
  • Once the bacon is almost cooked, add the red peppers and onions and cook until soft
  • Add smoked paprika and any other desired spice
  • Spoon the filling onto the flank steak, roll it and then secure with butcher’s twine
  •  Heat the coconut oil in a large pan sear on high heat until all sides are browned
  • Throw into the oven for about 20 minutes and let rest for about 5-10 before slicing into pinwheels.
