Rib Eye with Beurre Maitre d’Hotel

Yes, I had to get fancy with the naming of this dish, it deserved it! If you have ever went to a high-end steakhouse, chances are you have tried a steak with hotel butter and chances are you loved it! I know I did. When it comes to replicating this dish at home, it is quite doable. Just prepare your steak however you wish and create a compound butter of your liking to melt on top! Check out my last post for a couple examples of compound butter that I made for this dish. I topped the steak with a Cajun concoction and I used a dill and garlic topper for the corn. It was fantastic! I don’t think there’s anything quite as sinfully delicious as the combination of steak and butter!! Plus vegetable hater was very impressed that this could be made at home (shh, don’t tell him how simple it is!!) 😁
